Cosmo's Factory is het vijfde studioalbum van de Amerikaanse rockband Creedence Clearwater Revival, uitgebracht door Fantasy Records in 1970. De naam komt van de kamer waarin de band oefende in het begin van hun carrière. John Fogerty drong er zo op aan dat er geoefend werd (bijna elke dag) en de ruimte was vaak zo vol rook van de andere bandleden dat drummer Doug "Cosmo" Clifford het 'the factory' (de fabriek) ging noemen. Bekende nummers van het album zijn "Who'll stop the rain" en "I heard it through the grapevine". Kort na het uitbrengen van hun vierde studioalbum Willy and the Poor Boys in november 1969 begon Creedence Clearwater Revival met de opnames voor hun volgende album, Cosmo's Factory.

Cosmo's Factory is the fifth studio album by the American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival, released by Fantasy Records on July 16, 1970. Six of the album's eleven tracks were released as singles in 1970, and all of them charted in the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100. The album spent nine consecutive weeks in the number one position on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified 4x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 1990. Rolling Stone ranked it number 413 on its 2020 list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time".
