Eyes Open is het vierde studioalbum door alternatieve rockband Snow Patrol. Het werd wereldwijd op 1 mei 2006, in Nederland op 28 april en op 9 mei in de Verenigde Staten uitgebracht als de opvolger van Final Straw uit 2003. Er waren twee leadsingles, de Europese You're All I Have en in de Verenigde Staten was dat Hands Open. Op het album verlaat de band definitief de indierock en gaat het meer de powerpop-kant op, naast de al aanwezige alternatieve rock.

Het album werd zowel kritisch als commercieel goed ontvangen en kenmerkte zich door haar uithoudingsvermogen. Het album verbleef 88 weken in de Nederlandse Album Top 100, 74 weken in de Vlaamse Ultratop 40 en 66 weken in de Amerikaanse Billboard 200. Het album verblijft tot op heden nog in de Britse albumlijst, met een duur van 173 weken (drie jaar en achttien weken). Dit is grotendeels te verklaren door het succes van de singles Chasing Cars en Shut Your Eyes, waarbij de eerstgenoemde in ruim tien landen de top veertig behaalde en de tweede het vooral in de Vlaanderen, Nederland en Duitsland goed deed.

Eyes Open is the fourth studio album by Northern Irish–Scottish alternative rock band Snow Patrol, released on 28 April 2006 in Ireland, 1 May in the United Kingdom, and 9 May in the United States. It is their first album without bassist Mark McClelland and their first to feature bassist Paul Wilson and keyboardist Tom Simpson. Recording for the album took place between October and December 2005 at Grouse Lodge Studios in Ireland, The Garage in Kent, and The Garden and Angel Recording Studios, both in London.

Six singles were released from the album, including top 10 hits "You're All I Have" and "Chasing Cars", the latter of which came to worldwide attention when it was featured during the season 2 finale of the American medical drama Grey's Anatomy.

Eyes Open was the best-selling album of 2006 in the UK, selling 1.5 million copies. It was also the 15th best-selling album of the 2000s, and is one of the best-selling albums in UK chart history.
