Christopher Cross (San Antonio (Texas), 3 mei 1951) is een Amerikaanse zanger. Voor zijn werk ontving hij onder andere een Oscar en een Golden Globe, vanwege zijn werk voor films. Tijdens de 23e Grammy Awards in 1981 vestigde Cross een record als eerste artiest die op één avond alle vier de grote prijscategorieën won (Best New Artist, Record, Album, en Song of the Year), een prestatie die pas werd geëvenaard door Billie Eilish in 2020.

Christopher Cross (born Christopher Charles Geppert; May 3, 1951) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. He won five Grammy Awards for his eponymous debut album released in 1979. The singles "Sailing" (1980), and "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)" (from the 1981 film Arthur) peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. "Sailing" earned three Grammys in 1980, while "Arthur's Theme" won in 1982 the Oscar for Best Original Song (with co-writers Burt Bacharach, Carole Bayer Sager, and Peter Allen).
