Groove Is in the Heart is een nummer van de Amerikaanse dancegroep Deee-Lite. Het nummer werd geschreven door bandleden Dmitry Brill, Towa Tei, Lady Miss Kier, samen met Q-Tip. Ook kreeg Herbie Hancock schrijverscredits door het gebruik van een sample. De band nam zelf de productie voor de rekening. In augustus 1990 werd het uitgebracht als debuutsingle en leadsingle van het album World Clique.

Written and produced by the band, it was a hit in many countries, reaching number one in Australia and on both the Canadian RPM and US Billboard dance charts. Today it is widely recognized as a classic of its genre. It was accompanied with a psychedelic 60s-themed music video directed by Hiroyuki Nakano.
