Geen voorspelling van hoe het zal zijn, maar mijn wens top 10 voor dit jaar zou er ongeveer zo uit zien. Het blijft altijd wel een een extreem moeilijke oefening in 'kill your darlings'. 1) Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here 2) Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven 3) Fleetwood Mac - The Chain 4) Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody 5) Sinéad O'Connor - Troy 6) Gorky - Mia 7) David Bowie - Heroes 8) The war on drugs - Thinkin of a place 9) The Cure - A Forest 10) Dire Straits - Telegraph Road

Nu de stemweek achter de rug is, kijken we vooruit naar de lijst. Hierbij mijn prognose voor wat er zou kunnen gebeuren: Stijgers/nieuwkomers: Linkin Park stijgt op alle banken, Crawling komt de top 100 binnen. Daarnaast komen ook Pneuma en Follow The Sun in de lijst. We zien een re-entry voor Paranoid van Black Sabbath wegens het overlijden van Ozzy Osbourne en een opvallende re-entry voor Imagine van John Lennon. Dalers/exits: With or without you van U2 valt na 35 jaar uit de lijst, ook The Pretender valt eruit, samen met That look you give that guy, All Too Well van Taylor Swift (eenmalige oproep om het erin te stemmen valt weg) en Papillon van Editors. Top 10: In the end stijgt door naar plaats 3, Wish you were here en Mia wisselen van plaats en The Chain vliegt naar plaats 5. Bohemian Rhapsody en A Forest blijven stationair op 6 en 7, Troy en Smells Like Teen Spirit vallen uit de top 10. In de plaats komen Thinking of a Place en Cold Little Heart op respectievelijk plaats 8 en 9 de top 10 binnen, op plaats 10 staat Sultans of Swing.
